We hosted a couple for a tour of the campground this week. Despite the lack of leaves on the trees, they loved the property. They have a large RV and found that the cost of hauling it for individual weekend reservations was becoming impractical. To get more use out of their investment and make the most of this year’s camping season, they decided to choose a seasonal site.
They were particularly impressed with our two off-leash dog parks, which allow smaller dogs to play safely away from larger breeds. They also noted our immaculate washhouses and appreciated the complimentary laundry room. During our walk down to the water, they expressed excitement for the trout fishing and kayaking opportunities. A Stones Throw RV Campground checked all their boxes: fenced, gated, private, and focused on building community… and we love dogs!

The couple was also pleased to learn that we do not charge extra for larger sites or those closer to the water. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis with a consistent annual rate of $3,200 for all sites. Our rates have remained unchanged since we opened five years ago. We achieve this through accountability. Every power pedestal is metered so guests only pay for the electricity they use. This individual approach ensures that power costs remain fair for everyone.
As we enter our fifth season, we are incredibly excited for the year ahead. Visit our website to book a tour and see why we are making happy campers.
