A Stones Throw RV Campground was delighted to host the 2025 Alberta Star Party for the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, and we are thrilled to report it was a great success! Nearly 100 participants enjoyed the event, and they loved the Village of Milo! For many attendees, it was their first visit to our community, and they want to come back after experiencing the area’s beauty. The weather agreed with us providing clear skies all weekend, allowing for spectacular views of the Milky Way from horizon to horizon.
Durring the event we hosted the last Farmers’ Market of the season and it was well attended by locals, campers and star gazers. Thank You to all vendors who brought out their goods!
