A Stones Throw RV Campground offers a unique, Seasonal Only RV Camping experience focused on peace and relaxation. With five generations of local experience, we believe in taking care of our resources and prioritizing access and accountability for our guests.

Site Features

All 167 of our sites have been built up and leveled for superior water drainage. Every site is 50 feet wide by 92 feet long—nearly the size of a city lot—providing ample space for decks, sheds, and gazebos. There are no sites that back onto another site, all sites back onto green space or are pull-through, ensuring ample parking and privacy.

We Welcome All RVs

Older, well-cared-for RVs are welcome, there are no RV age restrictions or 5 or 10 years here. Big or small RVs are welcome, all sites easily accommodate 40 plus foot long trailers with room to spare.

Complimentary Guest Conveniences

• Free Laundry Room: One less reason to leave the campground.
• Visitors are Free: Your guests are always welcome.
• If you have an electric golf cart you are free to use it to navigate our large development.
• Free Boat Parking: You are welcome to park your boat on your site.
• Pets are Free: Furry friends are a part of the family here.

Amenities & Facilities

Store/Office

Our on-site Store/Office offers a complementary coffee bar, WIFI hotspot, a library with locally published books, games, campground conveniences and of course candy. It also houses our free laundry room and flush toilets. Local artists and artisans are welcome to sell their wares in our store.

Regular Outdoor Markets

We host our own version of a farmers’ market including local fresh fruits, vegetables, baking, and canned goods. Tables are free for local artists and artisans offering their crafts and baking.

Utilities & Site Services

• Power: Every site is serviced by a Power Pedestal with dedicated 30 and 15 amp plug-ins. Power is metered, allowing you to control usage and costs.
• Water: We are known for having the nicest bathrooms in a campground, featuring instant hot water showers and flush toilets. Campsites receive their potable water via our Water Delivery Truck at a flat rate of $20 per service.
• Sewer: Grey and Black Water removal is available for $25 per service—no need to be present or lift a finger, let us deal with that for you.

Security

The entire 40+ acre campground is secured by an 8-foot high deer fence, a gated entrance with keypad access, security cameras, and on-site staff. Guests appreciate the convenience of being able to leave their RV and belongings securely stored on their site over the off-season.

Additional Conveniences

• We Handle the Mowing: We take care of all grass mowing, helping you relax and keeping noise minimal.
• Environmentally Focused Maintenance: Our trees and bushes are supported by a drip irrigation system to minimize water loss. Heavy mulch is used to prevent water evaporation and control weeds.
• Complimentary Fire Pit Cleaning: Always free of charge.
• Firewood Delivery: Only $10 per bag (including tax) or save with a 1/3 cord Bulk Tote of Spruce, Birch, and Tamarack.

THE BASIC SITE FEE INCLUDES:

Use of your assigned site for the season (May 1st to October 15th), a regulation fire pit, and access to all amenities, including:

• Annual events (Regular Outdoor Markets & Customer Appreciation)
• Store/Office & Free Laundry Room
• 2 Heated Washhouses, Flush Toilets, and Instant Hot Rain Showers
• 10 Green Spaces & Community Garden
• 2 Off-Leash Dog Parks
• Rainbow Trout Fishing, Floating Docks, and Birdwatching
• Horseshoes, Disc Golf, Kids Bike Park, Youth Playground, and Log Jam Nature Play
• Access to visitors overnight powered sites* (*Charged at an additional fee)

Seasonal Site Renewal

The campground is open from May 1st to October 15th each year.
Seasonal Guests are welcome to take advantage of Off-Season
Security, ensuring the safety of your RV, deck, and shed while
stored on your site until the following season.
