I think about my grandparents everyday. Maybe it’s being on a farm, being in the same place as them remembering them work. Sometimes I think it’s due to watching the kids grow and I wonder what they would think. I wish we still had time to talk. On both sides of my family, and both the in in-laws and outlaws have a proud military history. As we get closer to November I tend to think of them a little more.
I think of their sacrifice and the sacrifice of others still with us today. We’re close friends with members of the police, fire, and emergency services who all chose to make a difference, made a commitment to help those in need. It’s a hard job for them and their whole family, the physical and emotional impact can be heavy to carry. Yet everyday they are out working for us.

Several guests at our campground are military veterans and we extend this offer to new and existing guests. We love to hear stories about their service and sacrifice.
