Happy New Year from all of us at A Stones Throw RV Campground! We are opening our doors to generations of future Happy Campers this May 2022 with a Brand New Seasonal RV campground in the heart of Southern Alberta!
Our vision is to create a campground that will mature into an arboretum. We have set a pretty high bar for ourselves, and we know it will be to the benefit of our guests.
Over 100 years ago (1914) our pioneering family built a sod house and chose to make this area home. One would see a lot of land travelling from Europe, following the Oregon Trail by covered wagon. Our family settled here because they saw a lot of opportunity and this area is beautiful. One could say it met their high bar.
For 5 generations we have called this land home, we have worked hard and are very proud to to show you what we have to offer. We’re excited to introduce the Village of Milo, Lake McGregor and surrounding community to you, your family and friends.
