Hello Camper, Welcome to another blog update from A Stones Throw RV Campground. We have had our fourth May Long Weekend as a campground and the weather was typical for Southern Alberta, all four seasons wrapped into one day 🙂 The grass is green, leaves are bursting out of buds, and the lilacs are in flower, it’s a magical time of the year. During the winter and early spring we are busy at trade shows introducing the campground to new people.

With the current state of affairs with international tariffs a lot of Snow Birds are selling their American get-aways, canceling their trek south and looking for a new place to park their RV this year. A little over a month ago A Stones Throw RV Campground had the opportunity to host the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) 38th Annual Star Party.
