A Stones Throw RV Campground will be hosting the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada 2025 Alberta Star Party Friday, September 19th to Sunday, September 21st. We had the pleasure of hosting this event for the first time last year, and it was a truly incredible experience. We cover all of the lights of every building inside and out with red film to help guests maintain night vision. Last year we could see the Milky Way from horizon to horizon.
This event is the one and only time where we open our doors to the public who want to camp and experience our dark sky environment. Visit our website at www.astonesthrowrv.ca to reserve a site!
