Skip the reservations, enjoy the inclusion of a rural community where people enjoy your company and there is enough room to get away from it all.
A Stones Throw RV Campground is a place where you can hear the birds sing, go kayaking, try growing some vegetables in the community garden, and experience why Southern Alberta is like no other place in the world. We invite you to experience the difference, we are so much more than just “weekend camping”.
Get more use out of your recreational investment, treat your RV like your home away from home. Just pack a cooler and drive out in the car to save some gas. You do not have to set up your RV every time you use it or brave hauling it down the highway. Feel at peace knowing A Stones Throw RV Campground is gated, private and secure.

More than just a weekend getaway, A Stones Throw RV Campground offers a sense of belonging, what a rural community feels like. Neighbours get to know one another, guests build decks, sheds and gazebos turning their RV into a home away from home. Now entering our 5th season we are yet to have a noise complaint!
Enjoy regular Farmer’s Markets, campground events, community fire nights, art clubs, bingos and more throughout the camping season. Rolling green hills along with wide open sky puts the city behind you offering a stress free environment.
WHAT DO PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW?

Since we opened in 2022 we continue to charge $3,200 + tax per season.
Yes we are Annual Lease / Seasonal Only Open May 1st to Oct 15th. We are a private and gated campground offering only exclusive weekend access for our guests
friends and family,
Yes guests of A Stones Throw RV Campground have built decks, sheds, gazebos and more on their sites turning their RV into a home away from home.
Yes if you’re trailer is in good condition who are we to say you cannot use your RV because it is more than 5 or 10 years old?
Yes we are as pet friendly as they come! Most guests have a pet or two, the entire campground is fenced so kids and dogs can only runaway so far. On-leash in the campground along with two fully gated and fenced off-leash dog parks!
Yes Laundry is free of charge at the Store/Office.
Yes several guests have a electric golf cart to get around, our campground covers over 40 acres of land. Due to the safety and quiet of campground we do not allow gas powered golf carts, UTV, or ATV vehicles.
Yes guests can store their RV on their site for a flat rate of $500 + Tax.

Most of our guest have been with us for 2 or 3 years, the most common complement that we receive is the sense of community that has developed here. People get to know one another!

We are a family farm that wanted to create an area where people could come out to the prairies and escape the hassle and bustle of the city.
